Bella Vista Historical Museum
The Bella Vista Historical Museum is run by the Bella Vista Historical Society, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is not affiliated with any other organization, however the museum does receive some funding from the City of Bella Vista. The Bella Vista Property Owners Association (POA) also provides lawncare and printing services for us. The museum is completely operated by volunteers.
You will find the museum located at the corner of Bella Vista Way/Hwy. 71 and Kingsland Road, next to the former American Legion building. Open hours are currently Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Admission is always free. Please check out the museum website for more.
If you are interested in volunteering at the museum, let me know. I can give you information and answer your questions with no obligation. This is a great volunteer job because you are only asked to work one afternoon a month and the day can be different each month. The pay is lousy, but you get to meet the nicest people in the world while learning all about our wonderful community and its unique history. Just a note- We do require all our docents to be fully vaccinated for the safety of our visitors.
